There you’ll meet your tour guide and assistants, along with the enchantingly fluffy friends who will accompany you on your journey. Be prepared for some sweet llama and alpaca snuggles—and be ready to snap plenty of pictures!
The trail descends through a beautiful eucalyptus forest, providing a peaceful walk immersed in nature. As you pass through the Racchi Ayllu community, you’ll observe the authentic daily life of the locals, as they guide their donkeys, herd their sheep, and tend to their pigs.
Once you arrive at Andean Colors, you’ll reward your llamas and alpacas by hand-feeding them fresh grass. You’ll also get to interact with the rest of the herd, which is another great photo opportunity. Want to meet one of our Llama of the Month celebrities? We can make it happen!
To conclude your adventure, you’ll learn about the artisanal weaving process behind the world famous Peruvian textiles. This ancestral practice has been passed down through generations, and it represents the heart and soul of Andean Colors. This is the perfect spot to purchase colorful souvenirs, unique treasures, and quality products that will surely become precious keepsakes.
When you select this package or shop at our boutique, you’ll be contributing to a social project that is a central part of Andean Colors’ mission.
