This unique spiritual journey is designed for those who want to immerse themselves more deeply in the Andean culture while seeking renewal, inner peace, and blessings from nature.

You’ll begin this experience at the magical Mirador MachuQolqa Viewpoint, where you’ll be completely mesmerized by the dazzling landscapes. Your experienced guide will lead you on a sacred walk (40 minutes) and provide fascinating information about the spiritual significance of the Apus (Sacred Mountains) and the worship habits of the indigenous culture. You’ll also reflect on the path of this walk as a metaphor for life’s journey.

Upon your arrival at Andean Colors, you’ll receive a symbolic “energetic cleanse” to prepare your body and soul for the ceremony ahead. This ritual involves spiritual purification using incense and palo santo (“sacred wood”). You’ll also set your personal intentions for the experience, taking time to think about what you hope to manifest in your life.

Before the spiritual ceremony begins, you will learn the ancestral chants used to invoke harmony and positive energy. In addition, your guide will share valuable insights into the Andean concept of reciprocity—the idea of giving to receive.

The two-hour spiritual ceremony will be an unforgettable part of your time in Peru. It begins with an offering to Mother Earth. This gratitude ritual involves the use of coca leaves and flowers to receive abundance and protection. Next, you’ll participate in a guided meditation to help you connect with the elements of nature for clarity and balance. The sacred chants will follow, offering vibrational prayers for strength, renewal, and inner peace. The ceremony concludes with a symbolic weaving ritual (“weaving the soul”) that helps to align your path with your deepest intentions.

Following the ceremony, you’ll have time to relax and reflect on the experience by meditating, interacting with the alpacas, or writing in your journal. This space allows you to connect with nature in silence and absorb its energy. It also helps you release what no longer serves you in your life and welcome new blessings.

At noon, you’ll pause for a moment of gratitude before enjoying a traditional Peruvian lunch made with sacred ingredients from the land. Your meal will include a scrumptious soup, a main course lovingly prepared with locally sourced ingredients, and a refreshing beverage that’s a regional favorite known as chicha morada (purple corn drink).

The afternoon will be dedicated to exploring the secrets of the world-famous Peruvian textiles that are an integral part of the Andean heritage.

With this package, you won’t simply be a spectator in the textile-making process. You will be an active participant in every stage: examining the texture of the wool; cleaning the fibers; and dyeing the wool using natural pigments extracted from plants, insects, and minerals. Our talented artisans will carefully guide you through every step.

Each part of the ancient process represents an opportunity for spiritual connection. Washing the alpaca fiber symbolizes purification and new beginnings. Spinning the wool by hand with ancestral tools connects the past, present, and future through the precious thread of life. Each color used to dye the wool holds a unique spiritual meaning, and they can be artistically combined to tell a powerful story.

To capture the spiritual impact of your day, you’ll learn how to use a backstrap weaving technique and create your own bracelet in vibrant colors. This personal amulet—a symbol of renewal—will be a physical representation of your Andean Colors experience and your deep connection to nature. It will forever be a reminder that abundance, protection, and peace are walking with you on your life’s path.
