Marco and company were superb hosts and made us feel like we were family in town for a visit. My daughters told us repeatedly that this experience was their favorite part of the whole trip, and they can be very tough to please. Don’t pass this by.”

“I have booked many a tour through Tripadvisor in my travels, and this is the best one I've ever done! The lunch that was included was absolutely delicious, and everyone was patient with showing me the whole process of weaving textiles. I even got to weave my own bracelet. Plus, they had an excellent selection of alpaca products for sale at a fair price, and the organization helps to support single mothers. If you're in Cusco, this is an absolute MUST DO! I cannot recommend more!!”

“This experience is fantastic and authentic. Set among the incredible mountains and countryside, Marco and Paulita showed us everything from walking the alpacas and llamas, washing and spinning the wool, to using plants, minerals, and insects for the various dyeing techniques. We also learned about the social cause behind the project. By the end, we had learned a simple weaving technique and made something to take away with us. Really special memories.”

We got to feed/pet the llamas and alpacas and took part in a full workshop about the processes involved in dyeing the alpaca wool to create Peruvian textiles.
